With No. 34046 'Braunton'

What could be better than dining in style hauled by steam locomotive and the opportunity to visit a town as inspiring as Salisbury.

Departing from London Waterloo to reach Salisbury just before mid-day. You will find no end of interesting local shops to visit, or alternatively take a look at Salisbury's crowning glory: the magnificent cathedral, adorned with a 404ft spire towering over the landscape.

Returning mid-afternoon we enjoy a splendid five-course late lunch, specially created by our head chef. Darkness falls as we travel via Eastleigh and Petersfield, to allow for a leisurely meal service before our arrival back at London Waterloo early evening.
